We enjoy meeting with customers so they can see our specialty products up-close, and we can answer any questions they have. We understand that accessibility projects are a major purchase, and we take it very seriously.
Every visit to our showroom, however, is by appointment only. I want to make sure that someone is available to meet when a customer comes for a visit.
We typically spend at least an hour – and often longer – when meeting with a prospective buyer.
We schedule visits about two hours apart to give us enough time and personal attention to help everyone who schedules a visit to our store. There is always a need to go over lots of details.
Scheduled appointments give us the required time to focus upon every aspect of a client's needs, wants, strengths, weaknesses, health/future health, and budgets in a private, comfortable, safe setting.
This type of discussion is a regular part of every store visit.
There is often a need for us to draw out a bathroom, kitchen, or ramp idea that a customer has in mind, including proposed dimensions.
Everyone seems to be short on time these days. This is why when you make an appointment to come to our showroom, we set aside the time to devote ourselves to you the client.
When you come for your scheduled visit, here are a few things you should know:
We are located at 7926 Old Seward Hwy in Suite A4.
It is towards the north end of the building and has an Accessible Home Store sign above the door.
You may be greeted by our over-friendly, lovable (pet me first dogs) Alice and Rocco.
If you happen to be allergic to dogs, just let us know ahead of your appointment time so we can make sure our pets are confined during your visit.
Things to bring with you when you come to visit:
- Any brochures, samples, magazine pictures, etc.
- Lots of pictures (on your smartphone are fine) of the area where you need to improve accessibility.
- Anything else, including any details that you think, maybe important to you.
- Your area measurements and dimensions. Use one of our available templates below.
- If, for example, you want to order a new stairlift from us, then it's a good idea to have a picture of your existing stairs and fill out one of our measurement templates located below this will help with our process.
Our goal is always to create both beautiful and functional spaces for you, Our designs adapt to the client, not the other way around.
Saturday appointments, which take place between 9 am and 1 pm, seem to fill up quickly.
So, if you can only come on a Saturday, then please call well ahead of time to schedule your visit.
Tuesday through Thursday appointments are usually between 10 am and 4 pm.
Friday appointments are between 10 am and 2 pm.
We prefer to not work on Sundays and keep it for family time.
Mondays are always hectic, so we do not make appointments for either day.
